The Michigan State–Notre Dame football Competition is an American School football rivalry between the Michigan State Spartans and Also Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The first game between the teams took place. Notre Dame leads the all-time string 47–29–1 ).
Since 1949, the teams competed to the Megaphone Trophy, a prize introduced with the Alumni Clubs of Notre Dame and Michigan State to be introduced to the winner of the game.  Notre Dame leads the Megaphone Trophy series 33–27–1.
The Notre Dame facet of this trophy is blue, although the Michigan State side is green, and the year of the match and teams’ respective scores running down the middle. The present trophy is the third decoration as the prior two decorations no longer have room for the respective games to be included.
The competition includes several noteworthy games, such as the 1966 game, arguably among the greatest college football games ever played. Notre Dame leads the set. Games played before 1949 show up on the trophy to commemorate the whole series.  Notre Dame is the current holder of the decoration, with a 38–18 success on September 23, 2017. They’ll hold the Megaphone Trophy until 2026 when the 2 teams are scheduled to play again
